The Trendy Cart ("the app") is a companion app that shares Jessica Rae's daily deals, videos, and storefront links with her followers. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.
No Account Required
You can browse every deal, video, and link in the app without creating an account or providing your name, email address, or any other personal information.
What we collect
If you turn on notifications: your device generates a random installation identifier, stored securely on your device (in Apple's or Android's secure device storage), and shares your device's push notification token with us. We use these two values together so we can send you a notification when Jessica posts something new. Neither value is linked to your name, email address, or any other personal information — there's no account to link them to. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device's settings, which stops this entirely.
Standard server logs: like any app that loads content from the internet, requests the app makes (to load the latest deals, videos, and links) pass through our servers and content delivery network, which can see your device's IP address and the time of the request. This is standard web server behavior, not something the app collects, stores, or links to anything else described here.
Aggregate click counts: when you tap a deal to shop it, we log that a click happened — which deal, and roughly when — so Jessica can see which deals her followers find useful. This count is not tied to your device, your installation identifier, or any other information about you individually.
We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs of any kind.
Affiliate links and commissions
Many of the links in this app are affiliate links. Jessica Rae may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you.
Third Party Sites
Tapping a deal, a storefront, or a social link opens that retailer's or platform's website in your device's own browser — never inside the app itself. Once you leave the app, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one. The Trendy Cart doesn't control and isn't responsible for how those sites handle your information.
Children's privacy
The Trendy Cart is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
